Do uploaded recordings need AI Polish?
No. Audio transcription is independent of AI Polish. An imported file can be transcribed locally or through the optional cloud engine without the AI add-on.
Macaw is a desktop voice workspace for Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Local dictation uses NVIDIA Parakeet V3. Audio upload supports files up to 20 minutes. AI Polish and Cloud Transcription are optional paid add-ons.
