Macaw can capture the system audio and your microphone after macOS permission is granted. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording or transcribing other people.
Macaw is a desktop voice workspace for Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. Local dictation uses NVIDIA Parakeet V3. Audio upload supports files up to 20 minutes. AI Polish and Cloud Transcription are optional paid add-ons.
